Well, what can I say about my beloved Indianapolis Colts?

After last night, I can proudly say that they haven't lost a beat, picking up where they left off to wrap up last season by dismantling the New Orleans Saints 41-10. And for every Colts fan out there, you've got to love that, considering that the Saints were the first huge test of faith Indy has had to contend with...for the first regular season game!!

Offensively, the Colts were clicking on all 4 cylinders; Peyton once again showed us why he's an awesome QB with an awesome arm to match, victimizing former teammate (& current Saints DB) Jason David multiple times. But Indy was equally stellar defensively, shutting down the dynamic duo of Drew Brees & Reggie Bush, not really allowing them to get anything going for much of the game. And that's saying something about a defense which was downright horrid stopping the run for most of last year (among other issues). Hopefully this signals the start of something good for Indy defensively...something to carry over from last year's playoff run & put to outstanding use game in, game out.

And this is only the beginning of the Colts' long road to victory...great way to get things up & running, though, by making quick work of an otherwise formidable New Orleans ballclub.
